Personal Goals 2024

The new year is coming up fast now and I reflected on my professional goals for 2024. I thought I'd share my top 3 :)

Communication and Public Speaking

I heard once that the things that scare you the most are the things you should face. Public speaking is leider not the same as singing 😅 — it scares me. In the new year I want to not only get better at communicating ideas clearly, but also write scripted talks about my experiences and topics I care about and deliver them to an audience. Maybe the audience will by my friends and family, maybe it will be international conferences - the goal is to do it!

Team Collaboration

I've always loved team collaboration and recent events in my life have made me think even more about it now. I want to get next level with listening to others, building them up, understanding how they work and how I work with them and contributing to a conducive space where where are most likely to feel safe enough to share and learn fast!

Technical Skills

I want to learn more!! I hate waiting for the new year to come to start something - so I've already begun to schedule deep dives for myself. Whether its shortcuts in Figma, animation or just staying up to date with design trends, I pledge to keep these deep dives going. Fill any gaps and branch out into the unknown.
